Raspberry Ketone Liquid Formula

Raspberry ketone is the primary aroma compound that is found in red raspberries. This specific compound was discovered and found to assist the human body in the stimulation and ultimate production of adiponectin, a fat-moderating hormone naturally found inside the body. Adiponectin helps moderate the absorption of bodily fat. This hormone triggers the body to regulate, modify and release any fats currently stored in the body’s physique. With the aid of the ketones of raspberries this stored fact inside your cells gets broken down easier by the adiponectin hormone (which is) a body protein that controls the body’s metabolic function. Adiponectin appears to actually convince the body’s physique to act as if it is currently functioning correctly, whether (at any given time) it may, or may not, be functioning correctly. When this hormone is functioning correctly it tells the body to release fat within the body that’s not needed and ketones also acts as a great aid in this process. Having a correct diet strategy and physical exercise plan a human possesses the capability to shed stored body fats and begin to actualize an individual’s preferred weight reduction goal. For all of this to happen the suggested quantity to use per-day is 100mg per day and that is equivalent to consuming more than 89 pounds of red raspberries! And this is why raspberry ketones is so essential.

It has been studied and confirmed that ketones from raspberries will help a man or woman achieve their weight loss objectives, however, most notably, it must be combined with physical exercise along with a balanced diet plan strategy that’s created with wholesome foods.

The USFDA has agreed that raspberry ketone is safe for consumption. It has also shown substantial proof that raspberry ketone does assist some individuals and helps put them in a position to kickstart the fat moderation and absorption procedure within their bodies. Multiple clinical trials and research studies have shown, with substantial proof, that raspberry ketones do actually assist with weight reduction, and has even shown some proof that the hormone regulated by the ketone might actually manage the size of fat cells and ultimately functions to improve the control of obesity.

Fruit is good for you! We’ve all heard that statement. Numerous people know and understand that blueberries have beneficial antioxidants that assist in the gathering, collection and management of free radicals within the body that may create and produce a toxic internal atmosphere. We’ve all heard that apples have an excellent supply of vitamins and are a great asset in maintaining good health. Now proof is also pointing to raspberry ketones as an excellent source of nutrients, as well as also being a great fat burner.

It’s essential to fully comprehend the fact that raspberry ketone isn’t a magical answer for people and is not a remedy to cure everything. Also, wisely so, physicians urge patients not to rely solely on this, or any other diet supplement product, to attain their weight loss objectives. For example, a raspberry ketone, or any other diet supplement, doesn’t provide you with allowances to consume what ever fatty foods you desire and afterward escape the consequences of gaining or not being able to control those undesirable pounds. It does not function like that.

Physicians, trainers and other health professionals agree (that) for a weight reduction strategy to be effective, you have to alter your diet and physical exercise plan, which usually means healthier foods and much more physical exercise. Nevertheless, for some individuals, after their weight has gotten beyond their personal control, physical exercise alone has not been able to help in the attainment of their personal weight loss goals. These people have found that the only way to attain their desired success in weight loss management has been with the use of a good, all natural weight loss diet supplement, such as ketones. Some of these individuals actually tried other diet supplements and none worked until they tried raspberry ketones. Worthy of mention is a repeat: this product alone cannot supplement a healthy, wholesome balanced diet strategy along with physical exercise. And they do a great job of controlling the appetite and assisting in the production of adiponectin within the body. As soon as this is really under control our bodies take over as they are so wonderfully created to do as long as we give due diligence to healthy eating and regular exercise.

If you are struggling to control your weight you might seriously consider adding raspberry ketones to your diet strategy.   And for those that hate to take pills or capsules raspberry ketones’ liquid formula is for you!

Questions and Answers

Where to start if you wanna lose weight?I dont know where to start.Im 15, and weight 230pounds..And I really want to lose weight…Thanks.
:)

[display_name id="1"]Start by loving yourself :) If you take a negative approach “I hate myself, i have to lose weight to feel good” You’re not going to stick, and you’re gonna be depressed all the time.. Believe me, I’ve been there :) Do something GOOD to your body, no starvation diets, no excessive exercising, and then you won’t fall into relapses of binging and sitting around all day :)Im 14, 5’5″ and 180 lbs, and I’ve struggled with my weight since I was 10 (I was a chubby child but didn’t really notice until I turned 10) But this time, I’m really motivated.#1 Rule: DO NOT DIET! Do not say diet, do not think diet, don’t even imagine diet.

You’re changing your eating habits to become a better, healthier, happier you :)
Get healthy, exercise more, but build up slowly or you’ll end up hurting yourself and losing interest. Talk to your parents if you like, and see if they’ll take you with them when you go grocery shopping, only pick things that are healthy :) Most things that “seem” healthy, really are. Avoid Diet foods “Low-Fat” and “Sugar-Free” and all that kind of stuff, usually it’s just a bunch of chemicals (Except low fat dairy products.. They’re good for you most of the time) The Smart Ones tv dinners and stuff, it’s all chemicals, SO unhealthy and really high in sodium. Just go for whole foods, like whole grains, and eggs and chicken, veggies, fruit.. You know “classic” healthy food :) for my HEALTHY EATING plan (hehe) I’ve started eating a lot more protein, it helps :) and I’ve cut back on fat a little. Try www.thedailyplate.com to track your foods, it gives you a pie chart (no pun intended) in the bottom corner to show you what % of your calories came from what macro nutrient (Carbs, Fat, and Protein) I do 30% Protein, 25% fat, and 45% carbs :) and 1200-1400 calories a day, depending on how much exercise I did :) .. Random Tip: Smoothies are an AWESOME way to get in your fruit and dairy, especially if you hate yogurt like me haha

As for exercise, if you have a Wii I HIGHLY recommend EA Active, it has this built in 30 day challenge, which can take you from a couch potato (me) to an active person, in a month :) Kinda preps you if you want to go to the gym or whatever, but feel like you wouldn’t be able to keep up. Im only on day 4 of my new healthier lifestyle, and I already feel SO much better!
If you don’t have EA active, try finding workout videos on youtube, there are TONS of them and they really do work :) Exercise is CRUCIAL for weight loss, Have you seen how some teenage boys can eat, but never gain weight?? It’s all because they have really high metabolisms! Exercise burns calories while you’re doing it, but you also gain muscle, which boosts your metabolism (Basically how fast you burn calories) So it’s a win win ^_^

Remember to feel beautiful, exactly as you are, and smile :) Do not think negative thing to “motivate” yourself, Instead think of things that inspire you, and make you happy :)
For me Im an actress and musician(Music is my life), and I want to be a dancer.. Dream of broadway ^_^ so I need to be more fit.. And just a random little thing, I want my boyfriend (whenever he comes along ;) ) to be able to pick me up and give me piggy backs and stuff haha. Think about happy stuff, because if you love yourself, you’ll want to be good to yourself!

I have 1 exercise/healthy eating buddy, but the more the merrier ^_^ If you want to chat my email is
RachaelMarieMusic@live.ca

Best of luck beautiful!!
God Bless!
Xoxo Rachael Marie

P.S. One more tip: Water is SO important, it gets rid of all the toxins in you and flushes them out. I don’t like drinking water, so I drink crystal light. If you can handle water, then go for it, but if you hate it like me, crystal light is okay too :) I always keep a water bottle, or like a big cup, or something like that with me, and when it runs out of water, i just fill it back up. You know how if something’s there you’ll just keep eating it without really thinking? Well “snack” on water :) It’s super healthy, and it curbs cravings for greasy fatty junk food!

How to start running to lose weight? How do you start running to lose weight? I have trouble running continuously and I’m embarrassed of my body. There is a lake by my house that is about a mile around. How can I run around it without becoming a mess? If I run a mile a day how many calories will I burn? How much weight can I lose by doing this? I am 17, 5’5” and 125 pounds. :)

Posted by Paiten
[display_name id="1"]You’re not exactly grossly overweight to begin with. At your current weight, you’d burn a bit under 100 calories per mile… But you’ll get better results if you focus your training on improving health and fitness over losing calories. And someone training to improve health and fitness wouldn’t simply do a mile per day. At the least, they’d vary their training.Anyway, if you’re just starting, it’s fine to do a lot of walking. As time goes on and your body gets used to things, it will become more natural to run, and you can start alternating running and walking. People will usually do something like run for a couple minutes, walk for one, run for another two, and so on. You’ll gradually increase the running portions and the walking ones will go away. But seriously, if you’re just starting, I’d plan to do long walks. After a couple months (or a few), you’ll probably start finding it frustratingly slow, and your body will *want* to run instead.
Is it hard to start to lose weight?I am 17, 5’9 and 250 pounds. I really want to lost weight. But I don’t know where to start. I don’t know how to count calories and don’t have access to a gym or exercise equipment. I’ve read online that when someone begins to exercise at first you tend to lose a lot if weight because your body isn’t used to it, but it gradually gets harder and harder. Is this true? And where can I start to lose weight?

Posted by Victor Caballero
[display_name id="1"]Losing a lot of weight is tough but I think it is important to go to gym and ask your trainer on what kind of diet you should do since we all have different body types. Anyway, since you said you don’t have an access to a gym or an exercise equipment, I think you should do a lot of cardio (exercise like jogging) and decrease your carbohydrates intake. But don’t starve yourself, I found out that starving yourself makes your body hold on to your fat longer. My recommended diet plan for you is eating in small portions for at least 2-3 hours. Anyway the less you eat the better as long as you are not starving to death. I always recommend that a meal should be as big as your fist are half of it. If it is not enough you can add another half. To keep yourself full with that little meal, you should Drink at least 2 glasses of water before your meal. BTW you can also add different kinds of exercise without equipments to let your muscles grow like pushups, situps, burpee, squat and other exercise that you can find on the web. Just make sure you stretch before doing any exercise to keep yourself from getting injured.

Questions and Answers

How can I lose weight when diet and exercise aren’t working?I’m a 55 year old female. I’ve gained 14 pounds in the last month. My BMI is now 38. I’ve tried to control my holiday eating and limited the usual number of parties I attend. Today I tried getting out and walking around the block, but I got about 100 feet and my hips hurt so much and I was so out of breath, I had to stop. How can I lose weight when I’m hardly eating anything now and exercise is too painful? I don’t want to do drugs either.
Here’s what I eat on atypical day:
Breakfast: A large bunch if grapes, 2 large bananas, 2 bagels with Smart Balance spread or 1/2 loaf bread in lieu of bagels, a large (12 oz.) glass of fruit juice, cup of black tea.

Mid-morning snack: Large bowl of cereal with candied fruit and mixed nuts added.

Lunch: several cold cuts sandwiches, more fruit, as many cookies as it takes to satisfy me, hot chocolate.

Dinner: soup, a casserole or frozen dinner, cake or pie, milkshake.

Bedtime snack: more cereal, tea
Thanks for the input. I guess it seems like a lot to normal people. I think it doesn’t seem like a lot to me because I’m still hungry even after eating.

[display_name id="1"]A study conducted by Tufts University revealed that women typically underestimate their daily caloric intake by over 600 calories, men by 500. That’s significant.

I’m looking at what you say you’re eating on a typical day and a few things stand out. You say you eat 2 bagels or half a loaf of bread. A serving size for bagels is 1/2 a bagel! A serving size of bread is 1 slice.

Cut back on the juice – you’re getting a lot of sugar and calories in a 12 oz. Glass. A serving size of juice is 6 oz. You’d be better off eating an orange than drinking that much juice.

Try having a bowl of cereal for breakfast (check out on the box what a serving size is – usually not very big) with some fruit on top and skim or low-fat milk. Have your tea also.

I’ve found a good mid-morning snack is an apple with some peanut butter on it (try to use the natural peanut butter with only peanut oil in it, not added soybean oil) with a glass of skim milk.

For lunch, don’t have more than one sandwich. Have a fruit or raw veggies with it. Don’t allow yourself to have unlimited amounts of cookies or other sweets. Have one or two cookies, then brush your teeth to help take away the urge to eat more.

If you get hungry in late afternoon, have a small snack – perhaps some almonds, walnuts, or other nuts if you like them (serving size is 1/4 cup), fruit, or veggies.

For dinner, some more vegetables, lean meat or fish, or healthy casserole. If you had cookies or some other sweets at lunch, forego the dessert. I would suggest you do without the bedtime snack if you can.

You’re going to have to add exercise to the mix if you want to get weight off and keep it off long-term. If you have access to a swimming pool (YMCA or other health club perhaps), water exercise would take the stress off your joints until you can lose some weight.

It would probably be helpful to keep a food journal for a week; write down EVERYTHING you eat and drink. Please educate yourself about portion sizes. Mayo Clinic has a good slide show about that; see it at Http://mayoclinic.com/health/portion-con…

They also have a tool called Healthy Weight Pyramid. You can see it and a sample menu at Http://mayoclinic.com/health/healthy-wei…

Change is difficult for most people, but take it one day at a time. Set reasonable weeklygoals, not in terms of weight loss, but in terms of your behavior.

Please e-mail me if I can be of help.

Questions and Answers

Will this diet/exercise plan help me lose weight?

Ok so, I go to the gym 5 or 6 times a week (only started this week but it's the plan I have made), I mix up my cardio routine each day but do at least 45 minutes to an hour of cardio each day. I do weight training once per a week.
My diet play (by diet I just mean what I eat):
Breakfast
- 2 or 3 weetbix with low-fat milk and a piece of fruit
- OR toasted rye or grain bread with a nut spread (usually peanut butter) (no butter)
Snack
- an apple(or other fruit) with a handful of nuts
- OR a small tub of yogurt
Lunch
- a fruit salad
- OR a salad(not fruit)
- OR a tomato sandwich on grain or rye bread (no butter)
Snack
- one weetbix with a small tub of yogurt
- OR an apple(or other fruit)
Dinner
- usually I have broccoli, carrot, sweet potato and sometimes I will also have peas and/or pumpkin
- usually with rice or one normal small potato or else with white meat.

I don't have desert. I drink about 8 glasses of water a day. I eat smaller meals.

So will this help me to lose weight? I am currently 63.4kg and 169cm tall. I am in the healthy weight range but bordering on overweight, literally. I want to be maybe midway throught healthy weight range for my age which is 14 years old (15 this July) so that's about 50 to 55kg. That is my goal, and I'm aiming to achieve it by March/April this year, but I will still continue with my plan because I don't plan on letting myself go, especially knowing how it feels and what it's like when you do from first hand experience. Also, incase anyone says that I'm fine, well I guess I'm healthy now but not very much, and both sides of my family have a strong line of diabetes in our genes. So it's best I lose the weight before it can get to the point of no return.

So can I achieve my goal using this plan to go from my current weight of 63.4kg to 50 to 55kg by March/April this year?

If you are looking to lose a lot of weight quickly, then you must be prepared to be completely focused if you hope to reach your weight loss goals. It is possible to lose weight quickly, but if you want to keep that weight off, you are going to have to adopt new habits and then stick to those habits. You are about to read about some techniques that really work in losing weight fast.

Plenty of dieters who are attempting to get rid of weight quickly are not aware of the extra calories that they are consuming via sneaky ways. For example, if you consume two to three cups of coffee every day, they have loads of cream and sugar, which can add up to a good amount of calories. Also, salads are considered to be healthy and low calorie, but not if you load them up with tons of salad dressing. Try putting on some oil and vinegar or maybe a sprinkle of sea salt and pepper instead of using the high calorie conventional dressings. If you like to eat out, you don't know what is in the salad dressing. Besides, salad bars are notorious for having loads of high calorie foods like potato salad and pasta. Just because it's in a salad does not mean that it is healthy. All of these toppings and dressings can get in the way of your goal of losing weight fast.

You may think that to lose weight all you have to do is eat less fat, but that's not actually the case. If you want to lose weight fast, you need to consume only the good fats and leave the bad fats off your plate. When you see the words 'diet', 'low fat' or even 'non fat', don't automatically assume that these fats are healthy. Good fat consists of unsaturated fats that are found in many nuts, flax, avocados and olive oils. The least healthy fats are trans fats, which are in hydrogenated oils and many junk foods and sweets. Saturated fat should only be consumed in moderation, as these are found in animal products, and for best results you should only eat the organic type. You should eat more of the good fats and refrain from eating the bad fats if you hope to lose weight fast.

The most difficult aspect to losing weight quickly is putting up with the emotional states you sometimes find yourself in that cause you to stuff your face with foods that are bad for you. So if you suffer from an eating problem, or you are depressed or anxious, you will have to deal with those problems in addition to creating positive habits as far as eating and exercise are concerned. If you suffer from anything like that, you may want to seek counseling, psychotherapy, hypnosis or meditation. You might lose the weight fast, but if you don't take care of the problems deep down inside of yourself, you'll never keep the weight off for good. Sure you can find many ways to lose weight fast, but nothing beats eating the right way and getting enough exercise. It's also important to keep your motivation up and to not give in to the temptation that surrounds all of us. While losing as much weight as possible in as little time as possible is hard to do, you can make it easier by using the tips you just read about. Just think about how you will feel when you finally gaze in the mirror and realize that you've finally reached the weight loss goals you set.

Do water pills work with diet and exercise help to lose weight?

So i am trying to lose weight. I lost 5 lbs last week by eating right and going to the gym everyday. All i drink is water during the day. No juices, soda, anything just water. So Yesterday i went to the gym twice once in the afternoon and once at night. I gained one pound when i weighed this morning? My dad said its probably water weight, Do you think he is right? Would water pills help me to lose weight as well as continuing diet and exercise?

Posted by SexyLexi69
[display_name id="1"]

It might help you lose a few pounds but its not a long term fix.

What kind of exercise are you doing at the gym? You are building up muscle while losing fat. Muscle weighs more than fat so you may look thinner but have still gained a few pounds of muscle during your weight loss. Its a good thing. You should go more by how you feel and look than the number on the scale.
Also, you should weigh yourself like once a week to see your overall improvement. If you weigh yourself everyday you will see the slight (water weight) changes and that isnt what you should be focused on.

Am I pairing the right vitamins with diet and exercise to lose weight?

I am taking Vitamin A, Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, FlaxSeed Oil, iron, Cinnamon capsules, Green tea capsules, ginseng capsules, and Cayenne fruit capsules along with my daily exercise and diet regimen. Am I taking too much or even the right things? I am taking the dosages like the label suggests, but I have never really taken any supplements before, but diet and exercise have never worked with me before. I do suffer from anemia.

Fast food diet?

Would it be logical to assume that if the government passed some sort of law requireing fast food companys to raise prices by a dollar or 2 on everything, that america's obesitey problem would at least slow?

Posted by Lestat
[display_name id="1"]

America's obesity problem is caused by lack of education, lack of willpower, lack of corporate ethics, lack of a good diet, lack of good exercise, lack of ways to reduce stress, and lack of good role models.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at Http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/…

Get a diet and fitness calculator that you can put on your computer or cell phone. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: Http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.ht…
Teens/Children: Http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/w…

It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: Http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/P…

*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.

Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter. An excellent free online resource is at Http://www.exrx.net/

A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.

*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at Http://realage.com

Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Send me an email or yahoo instant message to "gainbetterhealth" if you want an indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have any questions.

*Click on all the source links below to get the full benefit of the recommendations. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health providers with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

Is there a site for dieting for dummies?

Hi, I'm new to all this dieting stuff and literally know nothing about it. Iv got this calorie tracker on my phone where I put all the foods I eat during the day. Anyway it's alerting me of certain things like I'm not getting enough Protine, Iron, Calcium, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C.
Well I know nothing about these and what kind of foods I should be having, so is there a site which explains this simply as all the ones iv seen so far use terms iv never heard before.
Thanks in advance.

Questions and Answers

Starvation Diet: How much is too extreme?

I've struggled with my weight my whole life. Psychology, I'm sure there are many reasons for why I am looking at extreme measures now, most of which being insecurity.

I've lost more than one boyfriend to "not being hot enough" (they say I'm pretty, just not 'hot', obviously). I've been seeing someone new for awhile now, and he has expressed having a similar barrier in how he looks at me. This guy is really sweet, and while he has a bit of barrier– *I* understand that you simply can't help not being attracted to someone no matter how badly you want to be. Regardless, what we have is wonderful, and he insists that he wants me and loves me for all my other "attributes"..

If he wasn't so kind and sweet about it, I would have just let this one go like all the others. But I've wanted to lose this weight my whole life, and he's given me the perfect incentive.

So here's the problem: I'm running out of time. Things just aren't happening fast enough, and I've never been particularly good at eating full meals throughout the day, even as a child (I feel a distinct lack of hunger). So I've decided to do a fasting for awhile, mixed in with some things I've tried before that have shown to work.

First, please understand that I would appreciate if no one tried to talk me out of this. Only those that have truly dealt with the horrific scarring of what it is like to grow up overweight and be treated different can understand my level of commitment and desperation to get this weight off- and FAST!

I'm currently considering many things:

1) A Starvation Diet OR an Extreme low-calorie diet of one small snack/meal a day.
2) A HCG regime– diet drop supplement proven to work for me in the past for as much as a pound a day, but I didn't stick with it.
3) Exercise; currently considering 30 mins every day, trading off fast-walk, with dancing/aerobics every other day, adding time as the weight comes off, as I need to continue challenging my body to burn more calories so I don't plateau.

Honestly, at this point, I'd like to go full bore and do all three. I understand that any starvation diet isn't "healthy", but right now, I'm only concerned with what works. And there can't be any denying simply not eating will eventually make me lose weight.

However, how much is too extreme? If I'm already consuming very little food, AND taking diet drops, is exercise dangerous? Is eating nothing more effective than eating peanut butter toast (I chose this for the energy of carbs and protein in peanut butter) once a day? Is eating once a day going to slow progress and make me store that food more, or is getting in that food everyday going to allow me to 'extreme diet' for longer before health complications?

It also should be noted during this time, I will be drinking only water, though again, should I be drinking a lot of water or less?

I have a lot of questions, and I'm looking for the advice that will give me the best results. Effectiveness IS more important than health at this point because, in the rawest form, at this weight it is hard to keep myself from being extremely depressed and not really caring about living anyway. That's brutal to say out loud, but that's where I'm finally at with this.

Aaaaand staying this weight is just as unhealthy, especially with my family history of diabetes on both sides. It needs to come off NOW, while I'm young, BEFORE it poses a life-long threat.

For bio reference, I'm 21, 5'10, and would like to be at a healthy build (not too skinny) at 150lbs. That is my goal. I'm currently 265.

I also understand that after reaching my goal weight, reintroducing foods will be a slow and very careful process to make sure I do not put the weight back on. But even then, you guys, I'm over 100 pounds overweight. I may gain a little bit after I'm done as I'm first introducing food, but I can guarantee I will never allow myself to be like this again.

Advice?
Please note: This isn't just for a guy. I need to do this for myself, and I'm honest enough to admit that at this weight, insecurity will probably always keep me from being in a happy, healthy relationship.

"I understand that any starvation diet isn't "healthy", but right now, I'm only concerned with what works." – You SHOULD be concerned with what's healthy. If you AREN'T concerned about what is healthy, you'll never make it to your goal. You can collapse from not eating anything, even if you are overweight. It will be impossible to introduce foods back into your diet, because your body will store EVERYTHING and you'll gain all of the weight back. It doesn't matter how slowly you complete the process, you will regain weight. You'll feel like crap to. And you'll look like crap. You will have absolutely no energy, you will lose color in your skin, you will always be cold, and you will lose consciousness frequently.

If you diet properly, meaning eating the right amount and exercising and NOT using diet pills, then you will be able to keep the weight off much easier. You need a minimum of 1220 calories each day to lose weight, which is half of your daily needs. You would be healthiest consuming 1700 calories, 70% of your daily needs, and exercising, decreasing this number as your daily needs decrease. Exercise as you see fit (what you proposed for exercise is fine). Losing more than 2 pounds a week is not healthy, so it will take over a year to reach your goal weight if you do this right.

Doing this incorrectly, meaning with diet pills and starving yourself, can and will cause permanent damage to your health. It could leave you infertile or dead if you lose control. If you lose the weight the right way and reach your goal when you are 22, it will not be too late. Also, you aren't running out of time; you're still young and you have plenty of opportunities to improve your health.

Do not starve yourself. Diet the healthy way, lose two pounds a week, and reach your goal by April of next year. It might seem like a long time, but you'll be much happier during the diet and much healthier at the end of it. When you reach your goal, you slowly work up in calories to your maintenance number. When you diet, healthy eating is best, but you CAN have unhealthy things occasionally as long as you stay within your calorie limit. Don't let yourself go hungry either. If you are hungry, eat. So if you need to eat five times a day, eat five times a day. It is all about choices. You can choose filling, low-calorie foods such as fruits and vegetables.

Trust me, I know how to diet the healthy way.

MY EXTREME DIET…?!?

For the next two weeks I will………..
-eat 500 calories MAX per day
-workout a MIN of 1 hour per day
-use hydroxicut 3 times per day

I weigh 143 right now and I am trying REALLY hard to slim my waist and flatten my stomach before homecoming….which is in 2 weeks.
How much do you think I will lose if I continue this diet for 2 weeks?

Posted by Shaylee
[display_name id="1"]

I'm not going to lie to you, if you do this, despite it being extremely unhealthy, you will initially lose weight. But the minute you eat normally again you'll gain it all back and then some. BELIEVE ME, I've done crash diets like these for years. If you keep this up for longer than 2 weeks you're metabolism will begin shut down and your body will go into starvation mode. This means your body will try to save and hold onto any possible nutrients you give it instead of burning it like it normally would, causing weight gain. Going on diets like these are what eventually lead to my eating disorder which I am STILL battling after 5 years, and it's absolute HELL. Trust me, it's not worth it. If you truly want to lose weight and keep it off you need to up your calorie intake to around 1,500-2,000, work out daily, stay AWAY from diet supplements (and even diet foods – because they're all filled with chemicals and additives to make them that way), but you can't expect to drop a bunch of weight in just 2 weeks. You will be much happier if you do this the healthy way.

How to start an extreme diet :]?

I need to lose a lot of weight. How do I resist food && become an extreme dieter on the verge of anorexia? Any tips would help. Thanks <3.

An extreme diet hu…?

That's easy!!

Just eat a grape fruit before very meal

and make your meal nothing but fruit – since fruit is delicious and is quickly processed and cleanses the body and turns everything into poop

don't forget the grapefruit, helps u lose weight easier

look, this is a delicious yet extreme diet, since it doesn't follow the food pyramid at all!! =D!!

Oh, maybe eat 1/2 a chicken breast a day to keep from getting sick

also eat half a slice of bread to make sure the nutrients are absrobed

that's simple enough isn't it?

Because there are two types of mangoes here. The Guimeras which is larger and sweeter and the smaller Indian type.

Do you smile when you eat a green mango?

When I eat a green mango I am usually drinking SMB, so I am smiling; ").

What do you put in green mango, bagoong or salt?

How much is a green mango in your place?

Does eating green sour mango can affect your period?

Posted by Aubrey
[display_name id="1"]

Whether an unripe mango affects your period is uncertain. But, it probably isnt any good for your comma, semi-colon, or colon….sorry, I couldnt help the pun…
There are particular nutrient and mineral losses which women suffer when menstruating. A loss of iron, potassium, and mangenese, as well as fluids, are a few of these. When consuming unripen fruits, your body has to struggle to internally process those foods. The ripening process continues the manufacture of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. You will benefit greater by allowing fruits to ripen. The increased difficulty to digest unripen fruit wont do your stomach any good while suffering from other issues during your period.
The best thing to do is to consult your physician and discuss your, concerns, symptoms, and remedies. As for personal advice, I have 2 grown daughters and a wife–all suffered varying degrees of discomfort. I am a chef and I was able to lessen their menstrual discomfort by cooking foods which did not produce gas( onions, beans, cheeses etc..), cooking foods which contained more iron, proteins, and valuable nutrients( lean beef, spinach, brown rice, chicken, etc…) and ripened fruits with yogurts.
I hope this helps and good luck !

Questions and Answers

Does anyone please have a recipe for Runner Bean Chutney?

Something relatively easy to make with home- grown runner beans! Thanks :]

Posted by woodstock
[display_name id="1"]

Runner Bean Chutney Recipe
Origin: British Period: Traditional
Ingredients:
Chutney is an English version of the Hindi word 'chatni', pronounced as chutni. The word 'chatna' means 'to lick' and represents the lip-smacking sound made on eating something tasty. He original Indian chatni is a mix of uncooked fruit (raw mango/apple/other fruits), green chillies, herbs like coriander and mint, a few spices, lemon or vinegar or tamarind, sometimes sugar, all ground together to make a paste. In Britain and the West this original idea was adapted to mean a spicy preserve/condiment, where fruit or vegetables have been cooked in vinegar, with spices and sugar, and then bottled.

Runner Bean Chutney Preparation:
Method:
2 medium onions, peeled and finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
seeds from 15 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
120ml vegetable oil
2 tbsp granulated sugar
300ml white wine vinegar
Salt and freshly-ground black pepper
750g runner beans, trimmed at an angle into 1.5cm chunks

Heat the vegetable oil in a pan, add the onion, garlic and spices and fry gently for about 4 minutes, or until softened (but do not allow to colour). Mix in the sugar, vinegar and spices and allow to simmer for a few minutes.

Add the beans to the pan along with enough water to just cover. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Ladle the mixture into sterilized jars that have been warmed in an oven set to 100°C for 5 minutes. Allow 1cm of head space then secure the lid, allow to cool and store. You will need to leave this particular chutney for at least 2 weeks to mature so that the flavour develops fully.

Have you got any authentic pickle and chutney recipes?

I am looking for specifically

A roasted pepper or chilli chutney/jam
A salad pickle like Branston
A plum chutney/or sauce
A mango chutney
A spicy Victorian style chutney

But would be delighted to hear of any family/traditional recipes (preferably not copied and pasted from cookery websites)

* 1 teaspoon cumin powder
* 1 tablespoon salt
* 2 cloves garlic, crushed
* 1 teaspoon allspice powder

Mango Pickle

This next one is a genuine Indian recipe…from Deli…it keeps for months if you always use a clean spoon to take the pickle out.

The recipe is easy to make. The most difficult part (unless you live in a mango growing region) is obtaining the raw green mangoes. In larger cities you may be able to find raw mangoes in season (early summer) at Indian grocery stores. Do not attempt to make this recipe with ripe mangoes. You may need to visit an Indian or Asian foods store for a couple of the spices used.

The mustard oil must be approved for cooking. Do not use mustard oil that is marked "for external use only". If you cannot find the proper mustard oil then substitute "Mustard flavored oil", or peanut oil instead.
Ingredients

* 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) raw green mangoes
* 150 grams (5 ounces) salt
* 1.5 (one and a half) tablespoon turmeric
* 3 tablespoons ground red pepper (or to taste)
* 150 grams (5 ounces) fennel seeds
* 100 grams (3.3 ounces) fenugreek seeds
* 30 grams (1 ounce) onion seeds
* 350 grams (12 ounces) Mustard oil (or enough to cover mangoes)
* (note: may need to substitute oil – see comment above)
* (optional) 12 hot red chili peppers, cut in large pieces

Wash the mangoes and dry thoroughly. Cut into small pieces (approx 1 inch size). Do not remove the inner seed. (If the mangoes are large the innermost seed will fall out when you cut it – this part can be discarded, but the part if the seed that is stuck to the fruit itself should not be removed.) Green mangoes are a bit tough to cut, so use a large sharp knife, and watch those fingers! My experience is that the seed will usually cut easier in one direction than the other, in particular if you set the mango "on edge" it will cut easier. Some experimentation should establish this quickly. If you have to use excessive force then you are doing it wrong.

Grind Fennel and Fenugreek seeds coarsely in a grinder. Mix all ingredients in a big container.

Cover with a cheese cloth and place in a sunny window for 3 to 5 days. After that period transfer to a clean, dry glass jar, close tightly and store in a cool dry place.

Mango pickle should be eaten in small quantities. It has a hot and sour taste.

It;s lovely on the side of a curry meal…with a cucumber and yogurt/cumin raita to cool your mouth.

Roasted Pepper Chilli Jam
Ingredients

* (1 lb) roma (egg) tomatoes
* 3 Red bell peppers
* 1 small onion julienned
* 3-4 small red chillis (chopped)
* 6 garlic cloves (chopped)
* 1 small knob of ginger (chopped)
* 1/2 tbsp ground cumin
* 1/2 tbsp mustard seed
* 1/2 tbsp turmeric
* 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* Extra virgin olive oil
* Sea salt flakes
* Black pepper corn mill

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees (350 fahrenheit)
2. Cut tomatoes in half and drizzle them with olive oil and roast in the oven until skins start to blister.Leave peppers whole and roat them at the same time. The skins on the peppers are easily removed if you place them in a plastic bag while still hot and leave for 10-15 mins.. Remove all the seeds and white ith…as these can be bitter.
3. Sweat the onions in a pot in a touch of oil on low flame until they turn soft and translucent.
4. Add the remaining ingredients to the onions and sweat a few more minutes.
5. Add the roasted tomatoes to the pot, reduce the heat to very low, cook out for 1-2 hours season to taste with salt and pepper.
6. Once all the ingredients are cooked out, allow to cool and puree in a food processor, refrigerate and use as needed.

What is chutney?

What does chutney means? I was reading a recipe of pork with chutney and i didnt know what it wass.

By far the most popular chutney is Major Grey's chutney, made from mangoes, apricots, cinnamon and other spices… It is sweet, but not as sweet as strawberry jam! Makes a nice glaze for pork or chicken. I also have a couple recipes for hcicken salad calling for MG chutney, and love them, too!

Bridesmaids' Luncheon Chicken Salad

1½ cups Hellman's Mayo
3/4 cup Major Grey's Chutney (if chunky, chop up)
1 tsp. Curry powder
2 tsp. Grated lime zest
¼ cup fresh lime juice
½ tsp. Salt

In large bowl, combine above ingredients and mix well.

4 cups white meat chicken, cooked and cut into small pieces
3 (8 oz.) cans chunk pineapple, drained
2 cups diagonally-sliced celery
1 cup thinly sliced green onions, tops and bottoms
½ cup sliced, blanched almonds, toasted

1. Gently fold remaining ingredients into mayo mixture.
2. Chill at least 4-6 hours; can be made the night before. Toss before serving, being sue to get all the way to the bottom.
3. Serve on crisp, chilled salad greens.

Serves 8-10.

All the information I’ve found says there are two types, the Indian and the Phillipine/Southeast Asia, but there isn’t any mention of difference in the fruits beyond color.

MANGO CHUTNEY

6 firm half-ripe mangoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup cider vinegar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 2-inch fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper salt and freshly ground pepper

In a large skillet bring all the ingredients to boil, over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low, simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring constantly from sticking to the bottom of the skillet. Remove from heat and let the chutney cool before serving. Always keep it refrigerated

MANGO CHUTNEY

2 1/2 c. Mangos (partially green), peeled and chopped
1 c. Brown sugar, lightly packed
1 c. Cider vinegar
3/4 c. Golden raisins
1/2 lemon (including peel), seeded and chopped
2 tbsp. Fresh ginger, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3/4 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Ground red pepper

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, until thick (approximately 1 hour), stirring occasionally. Pour chutney into sterilized jars and cover with paraffin or canning lids.

MANGO CHUTNEY

3 half ripe mangos
2 tbsp. Oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 piece ginger root, about 1 inch, peeled and chopped fine
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Hot chili powder
1/4 tsp. Cumin
1 1/4 c. Vinegar
1/2 c. Seedless raisins
1 tbsp. Lemon juice
1 3/4 c. Packed light brown sugar

This recipe makes about 52 ounces, sufficient to fill three 12 ounce jars plus two 8 ounce jars.
Peel and cut 1/8 inch thick slices from mangos. Try not to include fibrous parts from around the pits. Heat oil in a large saucepan and mangoes, ginger, garlic, salt, chili powder and cumin. Cook gently for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vinegar, raisins, lemon juice, and sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered, for 40-45 minutes. Liquid should thicken and become syrupy and mangoes translucent.

Prepare jars and lids; keep hot. Ladle hot chutney into jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space. Release trapped air and put on lids. Process 10 minutes in a boiling water bath. Serve with meats, chicken or curry dishes.

Help! I have 4 trees covered with mangoes. Any good Mango recipies?

I am green with envy!! Here are some ideas.

Mango Sorbet
4 ripe mangoes (about 3 1/2 pounds total)
1 cup Simple Syrup
3 Tbs fresh lime juice, or to taste
Line a baking sheet with plastic wrap.
Wash and dry mangoes. Using a sharp knife, remove the 2 flat sides of each mango, cutting lengthwise alongside pit and cutting as close to pit as possible so that mango flesh is in 2 large pieces. With a spoon carefully scoop flesh from mango sides into a blender, leaving shells intact. With a knife cut remaining flesh from pit and add to blender. Add syrup and lime juice to blender and purée until smooth. Put mango shells on baking sheet and freeze while making sorbet.
Freeze mango purée in an ice-cream maker. Scoop sorbet into frozen shells, mounding slightly, and smooth surfaces. Freeze filled mango shells at least 6 hours, or until frozen hard. Frozen sorbets in shells may be wrapped individually in plastic wrap and kept in freezer 1 week.
Yield: 6 cups

Caribbean Mango Chutney
2 Anaheim peppers, roasted, peeled, diced
2 hot chile peppers, seeded, minced (like Scotch Bonnet or Habanero)
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 Tbs salt
3 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup tamarind paste
4 mangoes, peeled, diced
2 small onions, finely chopped
6 oz golden raisins
1/2 tsp celery seeds
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbs grated ginger
1 lg. Lime, juiced
1/4 cup whole cloves

Juicing recipes for better skin

recipe one..

1 apple
1 handful of dandelion leaves
1 medium beet

Dandelions are super cleansing to the liver. I happen to drink dandelion tea every day. When I forget, I notice my skin will get worse.

Recipe two…

4 carrots
2 stalks of celery
1 apple

Carrots are super cleansing on the entire body. Celery adds water to aid in hydrating our skin.

Recipe three…

2 pears
a quarter head of fennel
2 apples

Add a 1/2 tsp of powdered licorice after juiced.

While all juicing will improve skin's appearance, these recipes specifically feed the body with nutrients to make you *glow*

If you can manage to change your diet to mostly raw and unprocessed foods, I believe that you will see a signifcant difference in your skin. It worked for me!

And Remember…

If you are going to do a detox to improve a skin condition, make sure your bowels are clean first, and then start on your liver.

Questions and Answers

What are some best ways to eat mangoes?

This is the start of the mangoes season again. Actually it never stop for us… There will be one year with excess mangoes, and the season will continue to the March and April next year. But then the mango season starts at May again! So next year we won't have much mango and those mangoes won't be good. But, this year is the year with excess mango (love it and hate it).

I love mango and have this crave for some quality mangoes for a while, since there are no quality mango on the market or on my tree (my parents rent a house with a mango tree!). So I wait for these mangoes to ripe, but I found myself in this deep trouble: I got too much mangoes, and don't know how I can finish them… They are very nice mango, so I don't want to waste them.

I thought to make pickled mango, dried mango and jam. So anybody know how to make them, any good recipe? What are some other way to eat mango?

*I can't sell these mangoes because most people got the same problem as well, and the price for mango is not that good either. My mangoes are the apple mango, and all of them are at least the size like the one in the picture. But, I can only get US$1.00 for three!

Just cut them up and freeze them in bags. Then you can use them for most anything later in the year**.
Or make mango ice cream or mango sorbet.

For now, fruit salads with mangos and other fruits, green salads with say chicken and mango, mango salsa, mango yogurt smoothies, etc.

** sauces for meats/chicken/fish, pancake or French toast topping, topping for ice cream or on sponge cakes, smoothies, etc.

Favorite Green Smoothie Recipe?

I really would like to make one, but I've been getting all sorts of info on them that may or may not be true. For example, is it true that the ideal green smoothie has 40% greens and 60% fruits? Should I add some almondmilk? I have spinach, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and I think I have kale. What could I make with this?
Ack! I just made one and it was entirely too bitter. I think I put too much spinach in it.I put in 1.5 cups spinach, 1 bananas, and 1 cup strawberries as well as at least 1.5 cups almondmilk. What did I do wrong?

My personal favorite green smoothie recipe has:

1 Banana
A handful of strawberries
Handful of blueberries
Some flax seed
Apple juice
ice cubes
wheat germ
handful of chopped mango
handful of chopped pineapple
(I add a handful of cantaloupe if I have any)
and then 2 or 3 handfuls of spinach

I blend it all together and then when its done I put in some lemon juice and lime juice and blend it for a second to mix the taste in. It tastes like candy and is absolutely delicious and nutritious

EDIT: You put too much spinach in I believe. Try incorporating different fruits for a better flavor and only adding a handful of spinach rather than a cup and a half.

I am on a green smoothie binge! Any recipes or suggestions?

This morning I made a smoothie out of a banana, a pint of strawberries, some almond milk, and two huge heaping cups of spinach leaves. I was completely amazed at how filling it was. I drank it at 8:30 in the morning and did not get hungry at all until about 30 minutes ago. Do you guys have any good green smoothie ideas? Thanks!
